Room Systems for Future-Open Spaces

Workshop, team space, or retreat areas with niches – modern office spaces have to grow with the demands of teams and projects. That is exactly what westermann products has developed the modular systems multistructure, flomo wall plus and cama758 for.

Spaces have a rhythm, just like music or language. They structure movement, encounter and retreat. Their cadence emerges from openness and niches, from proportions and material, from light and life: they open up, condense, change with the people who use them. Where spaces are in rhythm, balance can emerge between openness and concentration, dynamism and calm.

What spatial rhythm do teams need: today, tomorrow, the day after?

The three modular systems from westermann products – multistructure, flomo wall plus and cama758 – can be used independently or flexibly combined with each other. In their systematic approach and modularity, they offer pathways to a human-centred, resource-efficient and long-term usability of buildings.

flomo wall plus: dynamic walls for agile office spaces

The flexible sliding wall system flomo wall plus transforms work areas into adaptable spaces. Instead of rigid floor plans, flomo wall plus moves with you – freely slidable, modular and optionally acoustically effective.

Highlights of flomo wall plus:

  • Free room planning: glides around corners & intersections
  • Intuitive: easily slide, link, lock & park the sliding walls
  • Integrated whiteboard: with or without mounting for the flomo board
  • Barrier-free: ceiling-guided system without disruptive floor rails
  • Modular and individually plannable: a wide variety of surface fillings, exchangeable without tools
  • Sustainable and durable: manufactured with short distances in Germany, repairable, recyclable

multistructure: load-bearing room system

Where direct ceiling mounting of the flomo wall plus is not possible, multistructure is a flexible and precise solution – as an installation level arranged below the technical building services (HVAC). The new development from westermann products – designed together with the design studio wd3 – pursues the goal of shaping interior spaces in the context of conversion and revitalisation in a resource-friendly, liveable and durable way. Westermann deliberately uses local, renewable materials that are at the same time mono-material and reusable.

The multistructure is based on long-standing, craftsmanship-driven interior fit-out competence and offers solutions for the central aspects of every building revitalisation: acoustics – light – climate. The easily retrofittable, reversible structure enables the integration of a wide variety of spatial elements – individually, combined and on multiple levels. Partition walls, acoustic ceilings, curtains, light rails, as well as the glass partition wall system cama758 and the flexible sliding walls of flomo wall plus, can be deployed in a targeted way.

Highlights of multistructure:

  • Responsible and circular: a future-open system made of domestic woods, multiply reusable and extendable, with a long service life and short production routes.
  • Functionally variable and modular: the system can be used variably for room formation and partitioning and can integrate acoustic elements, supply technology and other systems.
  • Revitalising in existing buildings and tailored to every project: integrable into existing buildings with almost no intervention into the building fabric – convertible and removable, and flexibly adaptable, even for special structural requirements.

Sometimes you need quiet – cama758 screens off without separating.

Holistic spatial design for the future

Together, multistructure, flomo wall plus and cama758 form a flexible, future-open system. For spaces that are planned today and still function sustainably tomorrow.
