Securing the Future Through Apprenticeships

The ongoing shortage of skilled workers presents companies with major challenges. To counteract this and actively contribute to securing the next generation of skilled professionals, we are proud to have been a training company from the very beginning. We offer young people the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a practice-oriented environment and to acquire a broad range of knowledge.
Through a sound training concept, we are not only investing in young talent, but also in the future of our company and the industry as a whole. We help mitigate the shortage of skilled workers and promote qualified next-generation talent.
At WESTERMANN, our commitment goes beyond simply teaching specialist knowledge. We encourage our apprentices to develop their skills, work independently and take responsibility. That is why we additionally offer the opportunity of a stay abroad as added value during their training. The fact that we have been operating successfully as a training company for many years is a testament to our commitment and the quality of our apprenticeships. Many of our apprentices have completed their examinations with top grades and have been successfully taken on into our team.
We would like to mention here the 1st prize at the euRobi-Stifterpreis 2022, which was awarded to Tom Zeller. As a carpentry apprentice, he convinced the jury with his report on his one-month stay abroad in Seville, Spain.
We look forward to continuing to support young talent in the future and, as a training company, to making a positive contribution to the professional development of young people.
