At WESTERMANN, our regular information meetings are not only a platform for innovative topics, but also a key occasion to look back together on the past business year and to give an outlook on the months and projects ahead. Management provides a comprehensive insight into key developments, achievements and challenges.

At the same time, we get an exciting outlook on the upcoming projects and initiatives. This exchange ensures that everyone involved is on the same page and can follow ongoing activities. That's how we create transparency and strengthen team cohesion.

How can AI support us in our everyday work?

This and many other questions were at the heart of our most recent internal information event. Twice a year, we at WESTERMANN come together to dive deeply into current topics.

An absolute highlight was the unveiling of our new internal knowledge base WeXa (Westermann x Artificial Intelligence). Our Digi Task Force team has built this knowledge base to help us integrate AI purposefully into our everyday work. In small groups, we discussed where WeXa could deliver the biggest benefits for us. Whether in production, assembly or the office — the teams' ideas for using AI know no limits.

After an intensive morning, we wrapped up the day with a shared lunch. In a relaxed atmosphere, we continued exchanging the ideas we had collected and deepened our conversations. Because one thing is clear: AI is no longer a topic of the future — it is already today a valuable tool that helps us shape our work even better.
